By applying the <a href=\"http:\/\/dfge.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/DFGE_TopDownApproach_2024.pdf\">scientific top-down approach<\/a>, DFGE was then able to quickly determine which emission sources receive a large weighting in the overall result. This enables the effort of collecting different input data to be related to their emission weighting, thus keeping the time spent on Nordex&#8217;s side as low as possible.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>With these valuable insights, data collection can be further optimized in subsequent years. In addition, DFGE was able to identify areas in which data quality should be improved, for example by increasing the size of a sample or querying specific supplier data. Based on the emission balance, long-term reduction targets, for example <a href=\"https:\/\/dfge.de\/en\/science-based-targets\/\">science-based targets<\/a>, as well as efficient emission reduction measures can be defined.
