There is still no legal obligation to calculate Product Carbon Footprints (PCF). Nevertheless, they are already often decisive for the award of a contract. For legally compliant implementation of the EU taxonomy<\/a> (Regulation (EU) 2020\/852 of the European Parliament and of the Council), life cycle assessments (LCA) or product carbon footprints are an integral part of the sustainability strategy.
