In recent years, the focus has been on climate change, but now the issue of biodiversity is becoming increasingly important. The loss of biodiversity is accelerating. According to the latest survey by the World Economic Forum<\/a>, biodiversity loss ranks second among the greatest long-term risks (10-years), directly behind extreme weather events. Biodiversity loss has major implications. About 1\/3 of global food products depend on insect pollination \u2013 that\u2019s triple-digit billions worth of products annually. This example illustrates our dependence on ecosystem services. Scientists and conservation organizations have long been trying to raise awareness of this issue. Legislators, initiatives, and rating organizations<\/a> have now taken up the topic and developed methods and reporting standards to help companies address biodiversity, in particular by<\/p>\n
