The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD<\/a>) serves as a systemic driver for companies: legal reporting obligations now affect banks, investors, insurers, and customers across the entire value chain.<\/p>\n

From 2027 onwards, banks<\/strong> will be required to consider climate risks<\/a> in lending decisions and will demand robust decarbonization plans. Investors<\/strong> are integrating ESG criteria, focusing on decarbonization, and increasingly excluding companies without a credible Climate Transition Plan (CTP) from their portfolios. Insurers<\/strong> take ESG performance into account when setting premiums and deductibles, while customers and partners<\/strong> expect transparent Scope\u20111, \u20112, and \u20113<\/a> data along with credible decarbonization roadmaps.<\/p>\n

A Climate Transition Plan<\/strong> or according to CSRD a Transition Plan for Climate Change Mitigation (ESRS E1-1)<\/strong> is therefore not only a regulatory requirement but also a critical success factor for financing, investor confidence, and supply chain relationships.<\/p>\n
