World Environment Day is the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. Since it began in 1974, the event has grown to become a global platform for public outreach. The theme for 2021 is “Ecosystem Restoration”.
Every year on April 22, the World Earth Day is celebrated. This year’s motto „Restore our earth“ aims at emphasizing the potential of natural systems, developing green technologies, and innovative ideas that can revive the world’s ecosystems.
