What is the CFO Taskforce?
The UN Global Compact is putting together a taskforce of Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) from the real economy and the financial sector alike. The taskforce aims at anchoring the SDGs in the financial strategies of companies worldwide. CFOs are responsible for managing the financial flows of companies, making them not only knowledgeable but also influential. Therefore, they can be powerful agents of change for the sake of sustainability.
In the next 24 months the CFO Taskforce will function as a platform for the interaction between companies, investors, financial institutions and the United Nations.
