Mit dem Grenelle Gesetz hat Frankreich ein neues Umweltschutzgesetz. Der Entwurf wurde im Mai von der Nationalversammlung verabschiedet. Somit bietet Grenelle II einen rechtlichen Rahmen, der im Umweltgipfel Grenelle de l’environment übernommenen Verpflichtungen (Grenelle I).
