EcoVadis users can expect a great innovation in the platform in Q2 2024 – we would like to briefly introduce you to these new features and explain how you can benefit from them:
Revamped Sustainability Scorecard: EcoVadis launches a new version of the sustainability scorecard. The design will be updated and the level of detail of the information will change. The transparency of the scoring is increased through explanations of the scoring and clear information on the scoring principles. There is also precise information on which documents were rejected and why, as well as comments from analysts. The new Scorecard thus promises further transparency and detailed information on the rating. As a user, it is now even easier to understand how individual issues have been scored and where gaps remain.
The revamped Sustainability Scorecard will be released on April 10!
Interactive Benchmark-Tool: A new benchmarking tool includes two interactive benchmarks – rated and requesting companies can compare the performance of rated clients against industry, region/country and size, as well as compare performance over time against industry. This feature gives you even more insight into how your performance compares to others and where you may have some ground to make up compared to your industry. The benchmarking tool is already available in a BETA version. Companies with a Basic membership in EcoVadis will lose access to the benchmarks as of 10 June – the benchmark tool will only be available from Premium membership onwards.

DFGE has been supporting various companies in their EcoVadis assessment as official partner since 2017. In 2023 we supported more than 40 national and international companies in their EcoVadis assessment. The ratings of our clients improved by an average of 10 points this year, mainly through targeted tips to improve data management.

Only 1% of companies receive a Platinum Medal – maintaining this medal year after year and continuing to improve despite very good performance is a major challenge. We have also supported many first-time EcoVadis participants – building a good database and then deriving action plans is essential. Introducing sustainability to our customers is a clear objective in our corporate philosophy and we are delighted to see new companies joining us every year.
