From April 4th, 2023, the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) 2023 questionnaire is open to all companies. S&P Global has made a number of updates in recent months to make its CSA process more convenient for companies. In the following, we compiled relevant information for you to stay on track with the updated CSA approach in 2023.
S&P Global CSA
As sustainability issues continue to gain global momentum, companies are under increasing pressure to assess and report on their ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) performance in order to remain well positioned in the marketplace and meet stakeholder information demands. One of the leading independent rating agencies in this field is the S&P Global CSA. This is an annual assessment of companies from over 60 industries worldwide that takes into account numerous ESG-relevant aspects. Submission of the CSA questionnaire is in particular a prerequisite for the inclusion of companies in the DJSI, a sustainability stock index. In total, S&P Global is inviting over 13,000 companies to join the CSA process in 2023, a list of which can be found here.
